Aasif’s ashes

Aasif Mandvi does his best Rock impression, mixed with a little Rob Corddry, as he explains North Korean nukes on the Daily Show. He’s at 6:00 in the clip:

His timing seems off, both on this segment and on his debut. Has anyone seen his one-man show?

    Do you mean “Sakina’s Restaurant”?

I saw it years ago in a small off-(off-?)Broadway theater with a friend and I remember thinking the he was a really good mimic and actor, though I think the story was a bit stitled. (Then again, I’ve seen so many FOB and ABCD stories on stage and in movies that I’ve gotten rather jaded and developed a thick skin and would really challenge anyone to say something new or different about those experiences.)
