Bridget McCain isn’t the only political adoptee from the subcontinent. Meet Asha Bharati ‘Kanak’ Huntsman, Utah governor and chemical company scion Jon Huntsman’s adopted daughter from Gujarat. She was found abandoned by a road, taken in and named Kanak; the wily nuns extracted a promise to be invited to her future wedding. Someday this fierce Mormon Indian-American heiress’ll make your head spin.
