I think it’s important that you point the context to the comic strip. I read the Penny Arcade everyday and have had forum conversations with the artistes themselves. Their comic is irreverent to a point of satire. I’m hoping that your post/comment was in support of the satire and not condescending. To a non-educated outsider, this looks like yet another “gora” attempt at humor using “India” as the punchline. I’d like to think that it’s not. I, for one, found it hilarious.
In this case, they were making fun of a major flaw in the installation of a video game which makes people wait long times before they can use it. Context is everything. Especially in today’s attention-span-of-a-gnat Internet world.
