I just got out of a screening for a friend’s flick, the most intelligent 2nd gen desi movie yet. It’s not Almodóvar, but it’s hilarious, and goes far beyond the thin stereotypes of first wave phillums. However it strikes you, like a phat new beat it raises the bar for all films which follow. Stay tuned, it’s candy.
