Hanuman after Schwarzenegger
Here’s what the post-Schwarzenegger Hanuman looks like (via Pickled Politics):
Time reported in March that director Shekhar Kapur will soon debut a nagin-theme comic book set in East Village, in partnership with Deepak Chopra and Richard Branson. Having run out of superheroes, and realizing that an underwear pervert in pink leather is just lame, comics and film are now turning to the rich mythfields mined by Amar Chitra Katha:
This summer, Kapur will unveil a comic book called Snake Woman that takes place in Alphabet City in Manhattan. “Most people will never realize that they are reading a story that has its origins in a 10,000-year-old Indian myth,” he says…
… they’re determined to “reverse the funnel” and produce world-beating Indian comic heroes… “We will be tapping into the great mythic storytelling in India to create a whole new library in character entertainment,” Branson told Time. “It is Bollywood meets Marvel meets manga.” [Link]

I think that this is a fantastic idea, what you are doing for Hinduism is great. Are you planning on doing comics for other fantastic epics such as the Mahabharata?
