‘Indian Cowboy’ soundtrack

My buddy Nikhil Kamkolkar has slaved away on his indie film Indian Cowboy (Sheetal Sheth, Deep Katdare from Bombay Dreams) since time immemorial. Today he finally released the soundtrack, after lining up artists ranging from Karsh Kale to Shaheen Sheik to Alms for Shanti, and distribution via Amazon and CD Baby (via Sree).

You can listen to clips of each song. Check out the title track. It’s moody, it reminds me of Wong Kar Wai’s 2046. ‘Dynamite’ by Leslie Nuss and ‘Empty’ by Karyshma are gorgeous. ‘L’Amour’ is a remix of French opera, ‘Table for Two’ is from Shaheen’s new album Rock Candy, and ‘Aaja Ni Aaja’ and ‘Chaipow’s Revenge’ are already well-known tracks from Kam Dhillon and Kale respectively.
