Filmmaker Simone Ahuja directed Indique, a TV series about modern India. The trailer above shows actor Rahul Bose’s rugby team, Indigo restaurant in Bombay, Nashik wine country and ayurveda in Kerala in an attempt to ‘broaden the palette’ of images Westerners are exposed to. At the three-minute mark, Malayalee men strain impressive deltoids in snake boat races. Simone says:

… our television series, Indique - Untold Stories of Contemporary India, is now airing in select PBS markets, and will be released on DVD in India later this year.
