Jonesing for a coffee
The Daily Show’s Jason Jones gave Starbucks free publicity for its nationwide shutdown and visited a desi-owned deli to buy coffee. He overlayed a random wedding shehnai soundtrack, unlikely to be playing at a place of business, then headed out to Times Square to make fun of a Sikh gentleman’s lack of English fluency. This isn’t too far off from David Letterman patronizing Bangla shop owners Sirajul Islam and Mujibur Rahman for years.
Half an hour later, Stephen Colbert repeated the Starbucks story with the same smack-withdrawal gag. This a day after both shows duped the turban smear story. Apparently they don’t talk.

i dont know man… i didnt read tht much. this i liked, “what! no douchebags with laptops”… :-).
The gentleman behind the counter obviously has an Arab accent so I thought it strange that they played the Indian wedding music.
Douchebags w/ laptos was good and No Feist!
