Pakistani rocker Zeb Alam’s ‘Pehla Pyar’ (First Love) pairs a mild, pop-friendly voice with the bass crunch and solo wail of early U2. It’s undeniably catchy, but milquetoast rock is annoying:
Desh music tends to be much softer-edged than American, but this track stills feels inauthentic, an elevator lite version of real rock. It reminds me of the girl band Pink Slip from the movie Freaky Friday, back when Lindsay Lohan wasn’t a hot mess. Same faux snarl, same whitewashed Disney-approved lyrics. Joey Ramone would spin in his grave:

Wow, that was superboring. I would rather listen to that faux punk brat Avril than this crap. These morons didnt even have the decency to suck in a campy way to give us some kind of entertainment.
WIth all due respect to manish and pravin, i think Zeb is an amateur singer a mere beginner…n he deserves n needs the respect and support and a few words advice inorder to do even better in the following years. Unlike people like you guys, a good audience should think twice before attackin like wild hogs on a new comer liek that. i can bet anything that u guys aint pros nuthin but criticising a poor guy like him. i know nothing of who zeb is or how he began…but i would definately think “hey…i think if he duz this he would sing better…or if he duz that..the video would be better” . sighs. but i guess people have their own views n those were yours. Hoewever, pray to God that you would never have to be in a situation where Zeb is right now…being battered by your “KInd” WORDS.!!

Dont know who u r Nimmo but salute to you for defending Zeb. Coz he definately is a new beginner and needs encouragement from those who have heard him rather then degrading words. But then some people just dont know better…
Zeb´s song Pehla Pyar maybe is not a perfect one according to some…but it surely does the work. The main point of the song …First Love…How many can deny that this cute, sweet song and video did not make them think of their first innocent love in school age :)
Secondly, have ppl become so dum n naiv that they think oh Zeb will only do this kind of videos or sing these kind of songs.
I dont think so… every person grows and wants to do more … So why cant people for once be supportive and give him a chance.
