Marine animal
Right this minute I’m sitting at a rooftop bar watching the blood sun set over the Arabian Sea. The bar is all Mediterranean whites and candles and I’m sipping a caipiroshka with freshmint and lime. The Air India centaur whirls silently behind flickering flame and Malabar Hill, where my mother snapped my baby photo in front of a giant shoe, is fading into darkness across Back Bay. The hoardings are blinking on and painting the water. It’s 75 degrees with a light breeze.
Damme, this is the Oriental scene for you!

Ahhhh….beautiful images. Makes me want to fly out there right now. All I can think of is burnt sienna and gold leaf meshed up together on the early evening sky.
