   I read on some blog that the terrorists were wearing kalavas (saffron thread) around their wrists…does anyone know anything about that??

   Why stop at just the “Saffron thread” - I think they certainly are from the Saffron Brigade. For distraction & amusement, the apprehended individual called himself “Azam Amir Kasav/ Ajmal Ameer Kasav “.
