New ‘Love Guru’ trailer

Mike Myers rides an electric carpet which beeps when backing up, and he stumbles upon another kind of East India company. Ben Kingsley cameos as his cross-eyed godman. Manu Narayan, John Oliver, Jessica Alba and Justin Timberlake clock in as well.

The new Love Guru trailer combines little witticisms with midget jokes which weren’t even funny in the original Austin Powers. Still, the flashes of originality give me hope.

Holy fuck! That killed me man!!

For those who cant read the hindi in the bottom pic it says… “you’re welcome to my ass hair” or it could be “hairy ass”, either way, all I got to say is

HAR HARH ARH HARH ARH …

    Le Khoof is amused.

Yesterday American idol had the hero of this movie Guru giving spiritual guidance to the contestants.
I dont know why I strangely feel insulted when I saw the promos of the movie..its like they are making fun of indian culture and religion..
Darjeling limited was also about India but it was good, not at all offensive.. Guru doesnot seem to be that kind of movie..I hate to see such kinda movies.

What happened to Sir Ben ? Is keeping those young wives (before they leave him) entertained that expensive that he has to take any role that comes along ? He did Blood Rayne and now this crap ? He should learn from Clint Eastwood… young wife AND good movie choices.

this was the worst movie i have ever seen. it was humor of the lowest class and also very very dull and boring humor at the same time.
after just 20 mins in this movie (i had to abandon my $10 and leave) hours later i am still in shock.

the total disrespect of indians and indian culture in this movie is outrageous. the total disrespect of movie goers with a brain is outrageous. mike myers must be coming from a very dark and cynical place..i almost feel like he made this to try to point out how complete trash can pass as a mainstream movie in order to draw attention to this issue.

Ummm .. people who have seen the movie .. I admit … It’s pretty bad .. Not really for offensive reasons .. Just for lack of content .. But for god’s sake … There is a lighter side to what passes as Hinduism in the western world in the form of all the Hare Krishnas and the temples with crazed followings … And if nothing else .. This movie dwells into that lighter side (however inadequately) … We, as Hindus should be open and tolerant to such humor … just as most other religions have been …
