Rainbow raygun

More arty Zune stop motion ads are rolling out around the sharing tagline. This one has a stereobot shooting a rainbow raygun set to ‘pimp.’ It plays over a stylish Bitter:Sweet tune, ‘Dirty Laundry,’ with Kiran Shahani on bass.

Great music, but this is by far the strangest BigCo campaign I’ve seen in years.

Cool song. Interested in what real people have to say about Zune.
My kid offered a withering smile by way of product review.

Can’t say, it’s not out in Bombay yet, but here’s a video of someone playing with one.

The usual MS haters* are all over this, but here’s a defense of Zune by an open source hero.

Without having physically played with one yet, I like the UI (seen videos) and software (installed and played with it– like better than iTunes) but think the hardware is clunky. But then since my 3G iPod’s hard drive died from excessive jogging, I’ve only been using a Flash player, a black Nano.

    * I worked at Microsoft 10 years ago and have owned two iPods and two Macs.
