Trinis worship the almighty Daler

The hood surrounding the Apollo Theater in Harlem has a small pocket of Caribbean desis dishing roti, oxtail stew and cheap electronics. Whenever I’m in the neighborhood I usually hear chutney remixes of filmi music and bhangra.
