Who Said Indians Were Cheapskates?

Sanjaya

Sanjaya Malakar, the high-pitched Michael Jackson wannabe contestant on American Idol won a reprieve from elimination (after a horrible performance this week) when people (Indians?) voted him to remain on the show.

I wondered how he survived after such a weak performance last week. His voice were just flat through out the song, no range at all..

I didnt like his performance either. What was he thinking.
But he does have a good singing voice normally as seen in his auditions.

He was in Hawaii for some years. It is believed that he is getting good voting from Hawaii region. He is young and for his young age he is doing great!

Yup. Add my vote to the Desi block that wants to see him win.

Why Shlok, why? His “singing” put me to sleep so quick that I had to be woken up by my wife when the next singer came on. Why would you want to see such a mediocre performer win? Just because he’s half Indian? C’mon now!

He needs to be voted off pronto.

I was actually one of the first people who caught his auditions and raved about it. I pulled for him and even urged people to vote. Must be the brown connection. But the last 3 weeks have been horrific to watch and even more torturous to listen. I think at this stage going by his last 3 performances he deserves to be voted off.

    i don’t care if he’s brown.
