OK, so it wasn't just me who thought the hair transplants remark was a shot at Joe Biden. Let's also remember that Biden has spent the last two days off the campaign trail because of his wife's mother's death, so... STAY CLASSY, MCCAIN!

So I'm apparently the only person who thought Palin's answers in the debate were word salad? IMHO the only difference between the debate and the Couric interviews was that Sarah Palin had faster tempo and sounded like she knew what she was talking about.

I also can't believe Palin's complete non-reaction to Joe Biden losing his composure over the death of his wife and daughter isn't getting more play. If their genders were reversed - and a male candidate glibly ignored a woman's grief over the death of her spouse and child - I guarantee we'd be seeing that moment on television 20 times a day. As it is, the CNN approval meter went through the roof when Biden was talking, and plummeted sharply as soon as Palin responded with some crap about mavericks.
